How progress is measured

AlignWellz tracks activity — how long your child has spent in each subject and what they have worked on. For the maths topics with practice questions, it also moves each topic through levels from beginning to strong as they practise it, and the questions adjust in difficulty to match. At the moment that practice-based skill tracking covers selected maths topics; for every subject you see activity and time spent. A parent creates the family account and adds each child, so you decide who uses AlignWellz and can see how they use it. Frequently asked questions

Can I see what my child asks the tutor?

Yes. Conversations are kept by date, so you can look back at what your child asked and how the tutor replied.

What do the mastery levels mean?

Each topic moves through levels from "beginning" to "developing", "proficient" and "strong" as your child practises and discusses it. Topics they haven't worked on yet show as not assessed. The levels that reflect practice answers currently exist for the selected maths topics that have practice questions; in other subjects they can only show that your child asked for a topic to be explained again.

How do daily goals work?

You set a daily target in minutes. AlignWellz shows whether today's goal has been met and counts the days in a row your child has met it, so a short, regular habit is easy to see.

Does my child need their own login?

No. A parent creates the family account and adds each child to it, so you stay in control of the account.

Is my child's information private?

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect, who helps us run the service and how to ask for information to be corrected or deleted, in line with South Africa's POPIA.
